Refund Policy

This policy explains the refund and cancellation rules that apply to Tawthiq, its paid plans, and related digital services available at https://Tawthiqs.app.

This policy reflects the current subscription model of the service. It complements our Terms of Service and does not replace them. If a separate written enterprise agreement or a specific offer states different billing terms, that separate arrangement governs within its scope.

Scope of this policy

  • This policy applies to paid subscriptions in Tawthiq, including recurring monthly plans processed through our approved billing and payment providers, including Paddle.
  • This policy does not create a broader refund right than the one required by law or expressly approved by us in a specific case.

General refund rule

  • Fees are generally non-refundable once paid or due.
  • This includes subscription fees for a billing period that has already started and any amounts that became due before a cancellation request.
  • If applicable law requires a mandatory refund right or different handling, that legal requirement applies to the extent required.

Cancellation and renewal

  • Where a subscription is recurring, cancellation stops renewal for the next billing period and does not normally create a refund for the current period.
  • Access to the service continues until the end of the current paid billing period unless a legal, security, or contractual reason requires different handling.
  • You should submit or complete cancellation before the next renewal date if you do not want the next period to be charged.

Exceptional cases we may review

  • We may review limited exceptional cases on an individual basis, such as an obvious duplicate charge or a confirmed technical billing error.
  • Review of a request does not mean that a refund is owed or guaranteed.
  • If a payment or billing provider processed an incorrect or duplicated charge because of a verified technical issue, we may take the appropriate steps, including coordinating with the billing provider to address the issue.

Billing questions and requests

  • Questions about billing, cancellation, or review of an incorrect charge may be sent to contact@tawthiqs.app.
  • We may ask for additional details to verify the account or transaction, such as the account email, transaction reference, or invoice details.
  • Payment processing itself may also be subject to the applicable terms and policies of the billing or payment provider used for the transaction, including Paddle.

Updates to this policy

  • We may update this policy from time to time to reflect legal, operational, commercial, or billing-provider changes.
  • The updated version becomes effective on the date it is published or the date stated in it.
